Go to this website and select the calendars you want to display on your iPhone:

https://www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect and making sure you select all your calendars from that page, and this appears to work from any browser, not just Safari on your iPhone.

Once that is done, go into your iPhone settings< Mail, Contacts, Calendars

You will need to pull up your main Google gmail account—the one that lets you select email, calendars, notes and turn calendars ON.

Go into your iPhone calendar and click on the calendars you want to display. The calendars should come across color-coded the same as you have them set up in Google Calendars—if you don’t like the colors, change them in Google Calendars. If you change them after you have turned ON calendars in your account settings, you will have to turn calendars off and then back on to update your iPhone calendar colors.

Google doesn’t allow US Holidays to sync with iPhone. If you want US Holidays on your iPhone calendar, then follow this:

Go into Settings on your iPhone.Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars Scroll down and tap Add Account… Tap Other Tap Add Subscribed Calendar

In the server field, input: ical.mac.com/ical/US32Holidays.ics – then tap Next On the next screen, change the name of the calendar under “Description” if you choose – then tap Save

After all of that, go into your iPhone Calendar and click on US Holidays Calendar or any other calendar you have imported to be added to your iPhone calendar.

That’s it!

“When you use Google’s “free” services, you pay, big time–with personal information about yourself. Google is making a fortune on what it knows about you… and you may be shocked by just how much Google does know. Googling Security is the first book to reveal how Google’s vast information stockpiles could be used against you or your business–and what you can do to protect yourself.”

“The first Google index in 1998 already had 26 million pages, and by 2000 the Google index reached the one billion mark. Over the last eight years, we’ve seen a lot of big numbers about how much content is really out there. Recently, even our search engineers stopped in awe about just how big the web is these days — when our systems that process links on the web to find new content hit a milestone: 1 trillion (as in 1,000,000,000,000) unique URLs on the web at once!”

“Google must divulge the viewing habits of every user who has ever watched any video on YouTube, a US court has ruled.

The ruling comes as part of Google’s legal battle with Viacom over allegations of copyright infringement.

Digital rights group the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) called the ruling a ‘set-back to privacy rights’.”

Viacom has no right to this personally identifiable information, and I hope Google countersues Viacom on behalf of YouTube users once this case is thrown out of court.
